Beer brewing: pumpkin ale, round 2

I finally got around to brewing the second half of the AHS pumkin ale recipe that I first did for Thanksgiving.  Nothing super-special this time: I didn’t even use any pumpkin. I think that the spices should still give it a nice fall flavor though. First snow of the Winter fell today though, so good thing I got this one done. Now it’s on to some Winter brews!

By the way, does anyone else have a tough time pouring the wort into their fermenter? I know that I could siphon it, but I don’t even have any tubing around for it.  So I duct-taped a little spout onto the pot that I used for the boil. Ghetto!
